Sean & Cristina | Spier Wine Estate
So this day started off quite differently than I imagined my first wedding would be. On my way to Spier Wine Estate I fell victim to the recent increase of "smash and grabs professionals" conducting business on the N2. Without my cellphone, proper tools and table layout I stopped at the beautiful courtyard to start my set up. Needless to say everything was behind schedule but the photographer, Jo Stokes Photography, and Hannes from Spier came to my rescue, calmed me down and allowed me to finish what I started - to make the this beautiful couple happy.
Shaun, the dashing South African groom and his Spanish princess, Cristina, tied the knot on a beautiful summer's day at Spier Wine Estate. Cristina loved the beautiful King Protea and lush green garlands, and that is exactly what we did. Cristina had a beautiful king protea bouquet framed with off white roses to complement her gorgeous Elaine Blom custom made dress. The ceremony site was dressed with proteas on the end chairs and the arch with eucalyptus, fynbos and beautiful king proteas.
The fresh and beautiful eucalyptus garlands were displayed on our crocheted runners and they were finished off with some berries and different species proteas. Our raw wood tables showcased the clear base plates and white Wimbledon chairs perfectly. Glass candle votives specifically chosen to withstand the wind lit up the tables together with the stunning lighting set up by Something Different Concepts. We suprised the beautiful couple with a lasecut sign made by Big I Design and framed it with eucalyptus.
Sean and Cristina, thank you for trusting me with your special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. Be blessed.
